I am 6'4", 225 lbs, 28yrs. I live in Toronto (pop. 6,000,000), Ontario, Canada. I have had plenty of time to deal with my HIV status and it's occasional little tests. |

I am an Electronics Engineer, PC Specialist/Web Master and a Cabinet Maker (mostly dabble with PCs these days though). I hope to solve the world's problems, but no one listens (or cares). Many ways to save our planet, such as solar/wind/hydrogen/hemp/etc... |

I like to watch movies, surf the net/chat, music, occasional outings (restaurants, museums, shopping). Mostly, I enjoy hanging out at home with my PCs since I do not have many POZ friends, especially hetero... I also play with my midi music keyboard/PC to create experimental music. My Web Site (my server might be down now and then) at http://poz.ca/chpc.htm Sorry ladies. I am no longer single as of Jan.18/2001. |

I am not religious, but I am not close minded either. I believe honesty and trust are what makes a friendship. I am a heterosexual, well at least I was before I found out... (heh) I have a great sense of humor and can be quite a comedian |

How I got HIV.... |
|
It was spring 1987. I was in high school. I was an over weight
teen. We had a new gym teacher that would make us job up cliffs and
hills. I would get these cramps in my side, the teacher said I was
useless and an embarrassment to the class. I went to the doctor
wondering if it was abnormal. I was told I needed a pace maker or a lot
of medications. None of my family would sign for a pace maker, so I got
some medication instead. These medications seemed to make problems
worse. Funny, once I turned 18, I was told that I might die if I didn't
have open heart surgery done, so of course I did what they said worried
about dying. I had surgery done in an University "hospital"
(London, Ontario). This only complicated things more. I find
medical marijuana
helps the palpitations and also keeps me eating (I had a
bit too much
weight a few years ago, but have gained it back plus some).
1992-3 I meet an understanding lady who accepts my heart condition (created by the doctors) and it's side affects. After a few years with her and falling in love, I decided to get fully check out as I was intending marriage to this wonderful person. The doctor said I tested positive for HIV. Well shit, that ended everything and needless to say, marriage was off. I do now have a special someone! And life now has a purpose with my sites (POZ.ca, heteropoz.com and HeteroPoz.com). So look around because this is my new beginning... Enjoy! |
